As mentioned, prepping will be done: carpet removed , some tiling will be removed & skirting boards will be removed. The boards will be laid on top of tiles on the main part of the house but upstairs, it will be on yellow tongue. We need help with the installation. Floor is pretty level, so if there's any flooding to be done, it will be minimal. If not, we will use a 10mm board to level up. Looking for an experienced handyman who has done it before. This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.
