Hi there - I am looking to get someone professional and experienced to install hybrid flooring in my apartment living areas. I currently have carpet and floating floors that will need to be removed. Its around 35m2, I am flexible with timing and can be here to help with removal, etc. Just don't trust myself to do the professional job I am looking for.

We are building a house that is due to be finished in February so won't need to be installed until then. We have brought vinyl planks and glue from a supplier and need them to be installed in the bedrooms. There is about 100m2 (5 bedrooms with wardrobes and a media room. We would like the planks to be finished flush with the tiles in hallways etc. Have put an estimate price as I'm unsure how much it costs (happy to negotiate).

Still looking for a hardwood floor installer. I am replacing the carpets in four bedrooms with hardwood flooring (not engineered). The wood is spotted gum 130mm x 19mm. The total floor area of the four bedrooms (including wardrobes) is approximately 60-65sqm. I already have the flooring and the glue. I do not have the nails but I can get or I can pay for whatever you buy. The hardwood is tongue and groove. We take ownership of the house in Gilston on 25 June and are looking to start installation ASAP so we can then start painting and move in. Sand and polish timber kitchen and laundry floorboards. The kitchen is 5.0m x 3.65m and the laundry is 3.5m x 1.75m. Both rooms are completely empty. The kitchen floorboards are wider hardwood and the laundry floorboards are narrower.

This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.

Full sand and stain required for our original hard wooden floorboards. We have renovated our house and kitchen floor had vinyl so there’s glue and marks to be removed. Cabinets and kitchen will be complete by end of May, so 10th June start date would be good. Realise in person quote will be required prior to starting job.
