Floors are in reasonably good period condition (Victorian weatherboard) but have an orange tint to them. Would like them finished to a clear mat finish. Keen to have my floorboards vacuumed, mopped, and polished, and in particular — need help with some strong carpet tape residue left on the timber. We’ve removed most of the actual tape, but there’s still a fair bit of stubborn sticky residue left that’s proving tricky to remove. Looking for someone with experience in floor cleaning and gentle adhesive removal who can get the boards looking clean again without damaging the varnish or timber. Ideally you’ll bring your own supplies (e.g. mop, polish, adhesive remover, scraper, cloths, etc.). I have a vacuum for use.
