Jobs required: 1. Outdoor deck: Remove and replace one rotted timber deck board. No sanding or varnishing required, as we’re having the entire deck refinished separately. 2. Indoor flooring: Remove and replace two loose floorboards before new carpet is installed. Had floorboards installed 5 yesrs ago done very poorly. There is slight bending on a coiple of boards alonside a small chip. Couple of parts od scotia need attaching back also

My back decking and section of front decking shown in photos needs to have the decking planks taken out to replace the timber beam joints that have gone rotten with new 2x4 beams already waterproofed and provided. Then to install back the decking planks. So basically man power required for days work that i haven't got time to do myself at moment

An inspection report with photos identifies 25 items across the carport/covered outdoor area, balcony/deck and internal finishes. Several items relate to the same affected areas. Scope includes: • Remove damaged carport/awning and external ceiling linings, inspect behind them and replace affected sections with suitable external-grade materials. • Assess moisture-damaged timber beams and framing, including wall junctions, and repair or replace deteriorated sections as required. • Investigate and rectify water entry sources before reinstating finishes. • Repair or replace deteriorated balcony/deck edge flashings and drainage components. I have approx 6 floating laminate flooring that needs to be replaced in my 2 bedrooms as we removed the built in wardrobe. They are discontinued, but I have them installed under the staircase. So would require uninstalling floating floorboards under the staircase, and using them to repair the damaged floorboards upstairs. And then replace the ones under the stairs, approx 2 square metres worth with some other brand.

Holes on engineered timber flooring, need to repair. Pls help! We are ending our lease and need to patch these up, 2 of them still have the screw inside, they need to be pulled out, filled and colour matched with the floor. There are 9 holes in total.

I recently had a hot water leak in the laundry that spilled into the adjoining kitchen / hall area. At the time, all visible water was removed and professional dehumidifiers /dryers were used, so I believed everything had dried properly. I was then away overseas and have just returned to find that sections of the floating timber flooring have started to buckle/lift and gaps have appeared between some boards. Approximately 5-6 boards are affected. They also had a heavy piece of furniture pushing pressure onto it which may have contributed to the uneven expansion / shrinkage. The floors were already older / not in perfect condition, so I’m not looking to replace the entire floor. I’m hoping to salvage and repair the existing boards wherever possible. I’m looking for an experienced timber flooring specialist who can assess the affected area, including checking the timber and underneath for residual / trapped moisture. I understand the repair may need to be completed in two stages: initially lifting / removing the affected boards so the area underneath can be properly inspected and, if necessary, allowed to dry completely; then returning once moisture levels are appropriate to relay / reseat and repair the existing flooring. Ideally you will have a moisture meter and experience with water-damaged floating timber floors. The priority is making sure everything underneath is properly dry before the floor is closed back up, while preserving as much of the existing flooring as possible. I need a handyman or carpenter to fix damaged timber subflooring in a hallway and turn a sloped ramp section into a single step. What needs to be done: Pull back carpet to access the floor. Remove and replace the damaged wood underneath. Remove the current ramp transition between the high and low floor sections. Build a solid single step to connect the two floor levels. Lay carpet back down over the new step/floor.

I'm looking for an experienced flooring installer to replace several water-damaged bamboo floorboards in my apartment in Neutral Bay, NSW. The water damage was caused by a leaking fridge and a robotic mop. Both issues have now been resolved. Scope of works: - Remove and replace approximately 2–4 damaged bamboo floorboards. - We have the original matching spare floorboards available, so no flooring materials need to be supplied. - Ensure the replacement boards are installed neatly and blend with the existing floor. Additional works if timing/expertise allows: - Repair architrave around fridge cavity once floorboards are in - Repair minor chips elsewhere in the flooring I've attached photos of: - the damaged floorboards - the spare matching boards I'm looking for someone with experience replacing individual bamboo or engineered timber floorboards, rather than replacing an entire floor.
