Deck installation is needed for a newly renovated 8m x 6.4m patio. Material is supplied. Half of the patio is tiled, and the other half is lawn.

I require an experienced floor installation person to lay a hybrid karndean korlok floor approx 10m2 in a queenslander homes kitchen. It currently has lino down and as its a queenslander home the floor may not be entirely flat or square hence need someone with lots of experience. I have approx 12.8m2 of the karndean korlok boards new in boxes. This needs to be done in a few weeks time once a replacement kitchen cabinet is installed. (There is also possibility of same person if they have experience laying real tongue groove floorboards in a sleepout over the top of the original verandah boards as a separate job). I would need the person to either remove the lino or lay over top of it depending on what they deem the best option. The korlok can be laid over existing timber and there is a timber floor under the lino.

Hi, I’m looking to get timber flooring installed in my 3 bedroom house in Wurtulla and am just after some indicative quotes at this stage. It’s roughly 85m2 (living area, bedrooms and hallway – no bathroom or kitchen). There’s currently old carpet that would need to be removed. I’ve already purchased the flooring from Harvey Norman (Timbermax Ultra engineered timber flooring). I was originally planning to install it myself but have decided to get a professional to do it properly. I think the job would require: removal of carpet and edging (furniture will be removed beforehand) basic floor prep (concrete slab below) laying of timber flooring (including underlay) trims/edges at doorways as required clean up afterwards and removal of waste Just looking for an indicative price and availability for now. This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.

Full sand and stain required for our original hard wooden floorboards. We have renovated our house and kitchen floor had vinyl so there’s glue and marks to be removed.
