Total area between 23m² - 28m² Kitchen & dining 5.4m x 3.7m Sunroom 2.2m x 3.7m I can purchase masonite and roll of lino from Bunnings as soon as necessary, but require someone to measure and install both masonite and vinyl/lino. There is existing masonite, between 3-4mm thick, covering most of the dining room already which I have not removed, but can if recommended/needed. Will need most/all of your own tools. Please quote

I would need a flooring installed by a 'suitably qualified contractor' per my body corporate lot improvement conditions. The area is ~8sqrm in an apartment building and I have already purchased the planks and underlay (see pictures for details). I can remove the existing carpet and existing carpet underlay myself. But I would need the wooden boards (with nails sticking out) removed, and the new underlay and laminate flooring installed. The laminate planks are 8mm thick, and new underlay is 2mm thick. The gap between the concrete and the bottom of the skirtings on the sides of the room looks to only be approximately 8mm, which may result in needing to have some of the excess skirting material cut off horizontally to fit both the new underlay and laminate planks underneath the skirting (from my understanding).

We are building a stilla shed in our garden there is a slope. We need 6 planks installed and secured in the garden for the subfloor to go on to.

My house has polished hardwood floors but they are quite scuffed and scratched in some areas. House is 130m2. I'm assuming full sand and polish is expensive (~$5000+) so Im looking for a cheaper, simpler solution and curious what it would cost to just give them a polish to try and improve their finish. I presume it won't solve deep scratches much but might eliminate the scuffed areas and improve the floor appearance overall. Am open to the idea of potentially spot sanding and polishing just the bad areas in the photos and it doesn't stand out significantly Please see photos and suggest approach and cost.

This is just for 1 average sized bedroom. Summary of the jobs that need to be done: 1. Disassembly (partial) of bed and moved to another room - I will help with this 2. Removal and disposal of carpet and crap underneath, I can also help with this 3. Sanding and refinishing the floorboards and finding the correct stain and varnish to match the floorboards around the rest of the house. I will of course pay for the varnish and any materials needed for this. I also have random orbital sander if this helps. The part that I really need help with is refinishing the floorboards after the carpet is removed, and making sure the new varnish perfectly matches the other floorboards in the house.
