I’m looking for someone experienced in repairing floating timber flooring. A section of the floating timber floor, about 1 square metre, has buckled in the middle outside the laundry room. The floor buckles during winter but returns to normal in summer, so the issue appears to be seasonal. As far as I can tell, there is no obvious water damage. The current boards were previously replaced using the wrong thickness (7.5mm instead of 6.5mm), resulting in a noticeable lip between boards.
