We have a section of floating floor boards, vinyl I think, that are rising. It is an area of about 1 square metre. We need some one to take a look, suggest a remedy and carry out the work.

I’m looking for someone experienced in repairing floating timber flooring. A section of the floating timber floor, about 1 square metre, has buckled in the middle outside the laundry room. The floor buckles during winter but returns to normal in summer, so the issue appears to be seasonal. As far as I can tell, there is no obvious water damage. I’m looking for someone to inspect the cause and carry out the repair. If the problem is related to insufficient expansion gap or another installation issue, I’d like it repaired properly. Looking for a quote to replace approximately 5–6 damaged hybrid floating floorboards in an apartment. Replacement boards are already on site and match the existing flooring. The current boards were previously replaced using the wrong thickness (7.5mm instead of 6.5mm), resulting in a noticeable lip between boards.
