We’re looking for an experienced carpet specialist to fix a small linear mark on a carpeted staircase. The carpet fibres appear to have separated in a straight line (not a cut through the backing). The job may involve one of the following depending on your assessment: • Re-tufting/re-pile repair • Re-stretching the carpet on the step • Re-seaming or heat-bonding the fibres back together • Minor patch repair (if required) The carpet is in otherwise good condition, and we’d like the repair to be as seamless and unnoticeable as possible.
