We are removing carpet in our house so would like someone to come and remove the carpet tack strips and fill in the nail holes in the floorboards and sand. We are not sanding or painting/staining as its already polished (previous owners put in carpet after they polished) so care will need to be taken not to scratch (or minimise scratching) the floorboards . Floor plan attached - highlighted area is where it is carpeted. Have also attached a photo of what it looks like - happy to provide more in the next day or 2 No idea what it may actually cost so have just put in a base number to start with. 1 room of carpet which was removed during a renovation. Approximately 8 linear mts. Underlay is not required some new edging strips will be needed as the room has now been divided into 2 .
