We need a flooring installer for our upstairs area in a Glen Iris townhouse. Scope of work: • Install engineered floorboards or laminate in 2 bedrooms + landing (28 sqm). • Install carpet in master bedroom + walk-in-robe (17 sqm). • We will remove all existing carpet and skirting boards in the floorboard areas before the job. • Carpet nail strips will remain where needed. Materials: • We are open to labour only (we supply materials) or supply + install. • Prefer Tasmanian Oak-look engineered boards, but open to laminate options. • Carpet: medium-spec, dense, soft, beige tone. Site notes: • Landing step is 15 mm above yellow tongue. • Bathroom tile edge sits 11–12 mm above yellow tongue. • Slight raised section of subfloor (2–3 mm) near bathroom. • One wardrobe has carpet underneath and an aluminium track — happy for advice on best finish.
