Reinforce Fence – Blowing Over in Wind My fence keeps blowing over in the wind — the bolts keep ripping out of the ground. The Ground is concrete under the grass, below the concrete is a garage. It looks like the problem is that there’s not enough reinforcement: • Currently only one join/anchor point to the ground. • Fence needs an additional anchor point or stronger reinforcement installed. We have two fence posts that are approx 1.8m high. We need to add one triangle off cut to each post, flush against the top of the post to prevent any human gripping it to pull themselves up. Image of gap more than 10mm at hinge Tasks: • Install a triangle-shaped timber wedge on top of two fence posts to stop them being used as steps. • Adjust the pool gate hinge so it can’t be used as a step (either move the hinge or add a simple safety cap). • Block a gap at the bottom of the gate or fence so there’s no opening bigger than 100mm (suggest mesh, timber, or similar, just not climbable —happy for your ideas). • Make sure the gate swings shut and latches by itself (may just need adjustment). Need 2 fence panels replaced. They're basically 2 planks: 223 x 18.75 x 3.5 cm and 227.2 x 18.75 x 3.5 cm The job involves measuring up, ordering and purchasing the planks (Bunnings nearby) and attachment. I'll do the painting. My price is a guess. I'll be going with the best offer

Install driveway gate along side of house. I have the hinges and screws that were used from where the gate was previously installed. Driveway width is approx 2150 W. Gates are approx 1984 W. I suspect you would need to install some sort of post or fixture for the gates to hang from. See images for reference. The bricks along the right fence base will be removed.
