I need a tradesperson to fix the pool fence gate hinges at my property in Kew (3101). The pool gate was flagged as non-compliant in a recent safety inspection. The issues are: The gate does not reliably close and latch from any position. The gate does not close properly when a small force (about 250g up or down) is applied near the latch. What needs to be done: Adjust the hinge tension so the gate self-closes and latches every time. If the hinges cannot be adjusted, they will need to be replaced with compliant self-closing pool gate hinges (hinges must be at least 900mm apart or fitted with non-climbable caps).
