Looking for an experienced fencing contractor or carpenter to supply and install a custom double swing gate for backyard access in Box Hill, VIC. Please refer to the attached design and site photos. Specifications: * Total opening: 3,470mm (existing fence to house wall) * Height: Approx. 1,800mm * Gate widths: Approx. 1,750mm left + 1,680mm right, subject to site measurements * Style: Traditional pointed-top timber pickets, matching my existing front fence * Frame: Galvanised steel frame with suitable bracing to prevent sagging * Posts: Preferably timber, concealed behind the gate (not visible from the front) * Hinges: Heavy-duty adjustable hinges * Lock: Outdoor mechanical keypad gate lock (supplied by me; installation required) * Hardware: Include suitable drop bolts and other necessary fittings Key Requirements: 1. Gate must extend from the existing timber fence to the house wall, NOT the carport posts. 2. Supporting posts must be concealed behind the gate to maximise usable opening width. 3. Both gates must open fully to allow large furniture and equipment through. 4. Structure must be reinforced to minimise long-term sagging. 5. Posts must be securely installed without relying solely on the existing fence or weatherboard cladding. Quotation: Please provide two prices: Option 1 – Without Painting: Complete supply and installation, including posts, frames, timber pickets, hinges, hardware and lock installation. Option 2 – With Painting: Additional cost for preparation, priming and painting to match the existing house weatherboard colour. Please confirm your proposed materials, experience with similar gates, availability and estimated installation timeframe. Site inspection welcome before finalising the quote.
