Hi, I need an experienced handyman / fencer to replace 1 rotted front gate post and re-hang the existing heritage gate. Scope of work: 1. Dig out the old rotten timber post and break/remove the existing concrete footing. *Note: Careful hand-digging is required as there is an NBN/Telstra lead-in conduit nearby (BYDA plan attached in photos).* 2. Supply and install a new Heavy Duty Galvanised Post Stirrup (e.g. Pryda Full Stirrup / High Wind anchor) set in fresh Rapid Set concrete to prevent future rot. 3. Supply and fit a new matching timber post (100x100mm or 125x125mm with a Pyramid post cap to match the left post). 4. Re-hang and align the existing wooden gate with proper heavy-duty hinges/latch so it opens smoothly. 5. Rubbish disposal: Take away the old concrete waste and rotten timber debris. All materials (Pryda stirrup, timber post, post cap, rapid set concrete, heavy duty bolts) and tools to be supplied by the tasker.
