Star Jasmine Fence Screening – Handyman Needed Looking for a handyman to help create a simple support structure for existing star jasmine along our timber garden fence. The job would involve: Attaching approximately 3-4 slim vertical timber battens to the existing fence Running 2- 3 horizontal stainless-steel wires above/across the fence for the jasmine to trail along. Helping train/tie the existing jasmine onto the new supports Secure installation suitable for the weight of the plant as it grows I already have some timber battens and will supply the wire/materials as needed. The aim is simply to encourage the existing jasmine to grow higher and across the fence to provide some additional privacy. Dog-proof gaps underneath existing Colorbond fencing for a very small Chihuahua. Fence is approximately 16 panels × 2.3 m (37 m total). Around 10 panels have gaps roughly 8–12 cm underneath that need blocking. The remaining ~6 panels have smaller/occasional gaps (under ~8 cm) that should only need minor patching. The bottom of the panel in our gate has corroded through and will need replaced. It looks like the gate frame needs to be taken apart for the new panel to be put in, then welded back in place. Likely a quick job if you have the necessary equipment.
