We have a Chromagen Midea hybrid heat pump hot water system and it has started regularly discharging water from the pressure & temperature relief (PTR) valve outlet pipe. This began shortly after Western Water shut off and restored mains supply in town due to burst water mains, so I’m concerned there may be an issue with water pressure, the PTR valve, or pressure/expansion control valves. Could you please: • Check incoming mains pressure • Inspect the PTR valve • Check whether a pressure limiting valve and expansion control valve are installed and operating correctly • Replace any faulty pressure control components as required Please let me know availability and an estimated cost range.
