I have a 160L natural gas storage hot water system Rheem that won’t relight after the main gas supply was turned off for a few weeks and has now been turned back on. I’ve already checked: * Main gas meter isolation valve is ON. * Hot water heater isolation valve is ON. * Gas control knob is set to PILOT when attempting to light. * Igniter clicks normally. * I can smell a small amount of gas while holding the pilot button.

Keep help with fixing water heater (this week water has been luke warm instead of hot) also have a problem with kitchen tap dripping into cupboard underneath, and with the toilet constantly running (doesn’t stop flushing). If someone is able to do all this please put offer in. Many thanks

Remove and Dispose old water heater in the ceiling, that been disconnected for a while. The house is under renovation right now so can easily get access, some gib removed. Plaster starts tomorrow so must be quick i.e. available tomorrow. Will still need to chop up in pieces due to framing, to remove from roof.

These solar hot water heaters (not powered, just has water running through it) are rusty and leaking, I need to decommission and remove. Each heater panel is about 2x1m. I am fit and able to help lift, but I can’t do it alone; ideally I need a plumber who can disconnect / block off the pipes from the internal HSW. All i really need is for someone to disconnect it at the source, and then help me get it off the roof. I’ll do the rest. Flat room, easy access.

Just do wiring on the water heater Extend the wire from 50 L to 400 L; use the existing breaker. 50 will be left there; no power connected.

Water out again Pilot light in the gas burner hot water system seems to have gone out. Flicking the switch off and on in the past few weeks would relight it and hot water would start again, but over time the water duration got less and less and now rarely works.
