Lights work but power points are dead. RCD stays on but won’t trip on test. Breakers reset. Suspect failed RCD or neutral fault. • Lights are working, but many power points are dead (kitchen outlets, fridge, living room TV). • All C16 power circuit breakers have been reset (OFF → ON) with no change. • The RCD / safety switch appears ON, but pressing the TEST button does NOT trip it. • This occurred after connecting a newly wired coffee machine, but the appliance is now fully unplugged.
