To start with, I need: - Install/mount **pendant/light fittings over the kitchen island** - Install/replace **one bedroom ceiling light fitting** - Carry out a general electrical safety/condition check of the house For the house inspection, I’d like you to check the general condition of: - Main switchboard, circuit breakers and safety switches/RCDs - Power points and switches - Lighting points - Kitchen, bathroom and laundry electrical points - Smoke alarms where relevant - Garage/outdoor electrical points - Any obvious damaged wiring, loose connections, overheating or overloaded circuits - General electrical safety/compliance concerns - Available switchboard/circuit capacity for future upgrades I’m also planning some future work around the **living room and theatre room**, including TV cabinetry, concealed TV wiring, additional power points and potentially feature/LED lighting, so I’d appreciate advice on what electrical preparation should be done before the carpenter starts. **Lights will be supplied by me.** Please include in your offer: - Labour cost for installing the kitchen island lights - Labour cost for installing the bedroom light - Electrical inspection/check - Any call-out fee - Whether installation is based on using the existing electrical/light points Any additional wiring, new circuits, switchboard upgrades or repair work can be quoted separately after inspection.
