Late last year, I had an electrician come out to replace some RCDs in my switchboard. During the work, he moved a lot of wires around and rewired a significant amount of cabling. Since that visit, the battery backup (EPS) function on my system that solar installer installed has stopped working. The batteries no longer power the house during a blackout, which they did perfectly before his visit. The suspected cause is that the electrician disturbed the neutral wiring during the RCD replacement. The EPS backup requires the neutral to be separated and routed through the inverter's EPS output, and this was likely reconnected incorrectly. Unfortunately, this is beyond what I can diagnose or fix myself, so I really need a professional solar electrician to take a look.
