Hi, I need licensed gas plumber to replace existing external continuous flow gas hot water system in Dianella. Like-for-like replacement: Old unit: Dux GK2620 New unit supplied by me: Dux 21ENG5N (Natural Gas) Existing gas/water connections already in place (20mm). P ower point already available nearby. We’re upgrading our internet connection from fibre-to-the-node to fibre-to-the-premises. A technician attended to complete the installation but was unable to finish the job, as he couldn’t run the cable from the Telstra box at the front of the house through the roof cavity and down to the internal internet port. He mentioned that he’s not permitted to enter the roof cavity, but an electrician would be able to complete this part. He left the NBN cable here and advised me to contact an electrician. The main challenge is that the roof pitch is quite low, so roof tiles will need to be removed for access. There are also solar panels on the roof and ducted air conditioning in the roof cavity. I’ve attached images of the external box, the internal port location, and an aerial view of the house showing where the cable needs to be run through the roof. Im flexible with cost.
