I am looking to have either an exterior light installed or failing that, a power point so i can plug my own light in. There is power going to the air-conditioning unit outside that I am hoping can be tapped into. For what I asked him to do, he did an excellent job. But he tripped all the power to the plugs in order to do the work and then when we went to turn the power back on there was no electricity to any of the plugs. Tried to work out what was going on for a good hour but had to leave to get to another job. So I had to get another electrician in to fix it.

The electrical hot water heater is not heating. It was installed new only 18 months ago so I doubt it is something too serious, but it appears to be an electrical fault between the power supply and the element. Maybe the thermostat? I don’t know. Probably needs an electrician but I am not an expert. Hopefully a quick fix! $175 call-out and diagnosis and will pay for extra time and parts as required!
