Install me smoke alarm on ceiling in hallway. I used to have one there but my dad sealed the hole with plaster. I’m unsure if I am required to purchase the alarm from bunnings first or if the installer provides it. I don’t know if by law I need a hard wired one or if battery ok. It's a double-storey building with terracotta tiles. The tiles under the panels need to be replaced. The house has been experiencing water leakage from the roof for quite a long time now, resulting in a water stain mark on the wall. However, he was not able to determine where the leak came from until 27 November 2024, when there was a storm and water ran along the wall inside the house.
