Hello, We are looking for a licensed Electrician to correct a lighting circuit issue at our retail store, at Pacific Werribee. The Issue: Our newly installed advertising lightboxes have been incorrectly wired to the same switch that controls our 'pre-testing' lights. This means every time our staff use the pre-test lights, the main promotional lightboxes on the sales floor turn off, which is disruptive and looks unprofessional. The goal is to separate the lightboxes onto their own dedicated switch. The Job: The task is to re-wire the lighting circuits so that the new lightboxes and the pre-testing lights operate independently. The scope of work will involve: 1. Attending the site and tracing the wiring at the relevant switch location. 2. Safely isolating power to the circuits. 3. Re-configuring the wiring at the switch plate. The store has noted there are spare/unused switches available at the same location, which should be used to control the lightboxes. 4. Testing both lighting groups (lightboxes and pre-test lights) to confirm they now operate on separate, independent switches. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured A-Grade Electrician in Victoria. - You must have your own diagnostic tools and a suitable ladder to access any ceiling wiring if required. - Experience with commercial fit-outs and lighting circuits is essential.
