I need someone to replace two existing wall light socket/batten holder with a new wall light fitting. The current wiring has multiple cables and the wires are short/stiff, so the new light will need to accommodate the wiring safely and cover the wall opening. It may require installing a mounting base or larger backplate before attaching the light. Tasks include: • Safely disconnect existing batten holder • Connect and terminate existing wiring correctly • Install a new wall light fitting with a suitable base/backplate • Ensure wiring is secure and safely enclosed • Test that the light works Notes: • Wall wiring currently exposed (see photos attached, and quite old) • Happy for you to supply the light fitting or I can purchase one from Bunnings if you recommend a suitable option • Ideally looking for someone experienced with lighting installation or a licensed electrician (Also attaching the inspo, I have already purchased these lights from IKEA, not sure if they will work)
