The Issue: A recessed LED downlight in our optometry room is persistently flickering. This is a potential safety issue and is highly disruptive for our optometrists and patients during eye examinations. The Job: The task is to find the cause of the flickering and perform the necessary repair to ensure stable, constant light. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the high ceiling (approx. 4 meters). 2. Diagnosing the cause of the flickering (e.g., faulty LED unit, failing driver, loose connection, or dimmer incompatibility). 3. Supplying and installing a new, like-for-like replacement downlight fitting if the existing one is faulty. 4. Testing the light thoroughly to confirm the flickering is resolved and the dimmer function (if applicable) is operating correctly.
