Took the Mac mini to a computer guy to put a bigger hard drive in.. come back with corrupt errors all over it now it won’t turn on.. can you help

I have an existing Telstra NBN 100 connection using the Telstra smart 3 modem/router via a FTTP (fibre to premises) arrangement. I also have an internal wired ethernet network (4 points) that terminate near my NBN box and these 4 points are connected to the 4 port telstra smart 3 modem/router (all located in garage). I have a large 2 storey 4 bedroom house and I am looking at improving my wifi coverage and ensuring the strongest/fastest setup possible. With the above in mind I am looking for advice on which hardware to purchase (currently thinking Tp Link Deco x73 to replace telstra router & X90 as extender located upstairs on ethernet backhaul) and then assistance to install and test the new devices in my home. - Due date: Flexible

I’m living in a self contained unit behind a main house so the wifi is weak, I’m constantly sitting on 2 bars of wifi.
