Find a local Tasker to set up your internet in Melbourne

I've recently bought some MoCA adapters to try and get wired internet to one other room. My house has foxtel and some other coax ports all over the house but when I connect the MoCA adapter, they can't find each other (MoCA connection light stays off). I know the adapters are working as they can be connected directly with a coax cable and the light comes on. I believe the problem is to figure out whether the coax cabling/foxtel ports are actually connected throughout the house and how to connect them if they are not. I need someone who may be able to help with solve this issue and get the wiring/internet fixed in the other room. Thank you.

Since my TPG NBN has been going down I cannot connect my Hisense Smart TV to the internet but my PC, tablet are connected.

Currently having an issue with internet not connecting. Currently connected to wifi and we checked with nbn and kogan and network is fine. The belong modem always opens on the modem/router login page

At my old father’s house he had dementia and loves his Foxtel and it is hard for him to manage. I want to help him get Netflix. The portal is near where he watch his Foxtel all the time. He wakes up in late afternoon and he sleeps near the tv. So I will need to entertain him while set up is happening.

Internet is down. Roadworks caused nbn issue and is now resolved. Modem needs to be power cycled. Also NAS needs to be upgraded powered on. It’s possible if this doesn’t fix it you may need to talk to provider (Aussie broadband) but unlikely. Also unlikely but bringing a laptop to plug in and to to test may be needed. The device is in a locked cabinet and may need a small ladder for easier access.

We’ve taken over a practice and left with this mess upstairs where our wifi is. The nbn connection is downstairs and the wifi router is upstairs. It’s connected to a big contraption with a lot going on and we’re unsure what is / isn’t needed. Our wifi drops out throughout the day and our connection speed is 40/30 when it should be 500/50. Unsure if anyone is able to help or offer advice with this issue?

We seem to have a poor internet set up and need someone to advise and set up so our entire house is WIFI strong.

My internet service is working, however the wall phone/internet socket is damaged and very loose. The modem connects successfully when the cable is positioned correctly, but any slight movement of the cable or socket causes the connection to drop out. The front of the socket has detached from the wall plate and appears to require repair or replacement. I need someone to: * Inspect the existing wall socket. * Secure or replace the socket/faceplate. * Repair any loose internal wiring or connections. * Ensure the cable plugs in securely without movement. * Test the connection after repair to confirm stability. Current Situation * Internet service itself is working. * Modem/router is operational. * Connection drops only when the cable/socket is disturbed. * Appears to be an older telephone/DSL style socket. * Photos attached. Looking For * Registered cabler preferred. * Experience with NBN/telephone/data cabling. * Please include availability and total cost including parts. Expected Outcome The internet connection remains stable and does not disconnect when the cable or wall socket is touched or moved.

Need help improving our home Wi-Fi coverage. The internet is weak upstairs and at the back of the house, so we're looking for someone to assess the setup (see picture attached)and recommend the best fix, whether that's a booster, mesh system, or something else. I have recently purchased monthly wifi from Spintel. I chose the BYO modem as I had a TPlink archer D7. NBN will connect to wifi but the Internet symbol won't display on router. I've tried two other routers another tp link and an ASUS one, same issue. I've tried multiple Ethernet cables, powering on and off and resetting router, no luck.

Looking for a technician specialized in internet connections to help set up the internet in our apartment. The house currently has an old-style socket, and we need someone who can connect the internet using the appropriate adapter so that the connection works properly.
