Hi, I’m having an issue with my MacBook Pro. When I connect the charger, it shows that charging, but the screen stays black. I’ve already tried a basic reset, but it didn’t work. It might be a hardware problem.

On my laptop, the Documents folder, and some other large applications have somehow got tangled up with OneDrive. There is critical stuff on OneDrive that must be retained, plus some other content. Also a big application (MS Visual Studio) that I can reinstall. I am not safe to be messing at this level, but I am quite conversant enough to sit alongside someone doing the job. SSD is only about 35% full so there is room, and plenty of RAM. I am uncertain what a realistic cost is, but this is an important job.

Hi I am looking for help to manage screen and internet controls and protections to limit access for my 10 year old who is demonstrating screen addiction behaviours. I’m hoping someone with these skills can help me do whatever is needed to ensure that we have firewalls and time limits, passwords protected access and no access sites and anything else that you can think of that will help the situation. We have wifi, 2 TVs, a PC, and an iPad. (YouTube is a particular problem). I also need your advice on phone choices and access protections on the phone as he will get one when he starts high school in 2 years. The house has older teenagers and a young adult, all of whom manage a well balanced approach so it needs to be a fix that doesn’t limit them too much while creating much-needed limits for my youngest. My apps are working correctly on my MacBook, but on my husband’s MacBook the Microsoft apps (Word, Excel, etc.) won’t activate. Hi i got the fibre premises nbn installed and have a smart modem from Telstra. No matte what i try including chat gpt directions it says connected on tv but then says no internet. I think its the tv not the modem or connection as ipad connects. Its probably simple but i have been trying for 2 days now. Please help
