I am looking for an experienced timber restoration/finishing specialist to restore my timber front entrance. The job consists of: - One timber front door – both interior and exterior sides - One adjoining timber sidelight/side panel – both sides - Timber door frame and surrounding trim Both the door and sidelight contain decorative leadlight glass, so care must be taken when sanding and refinishing around the glass. The exterior timber has become weathered and the existing finish has deteriorated. I would like the entire entrance professionally restored so that the timber looks refreshed and well finished while retaining its natural timber appearance. Work required includes proper cleaning and preparation, sanding back the existing deteriorated finish as necessary, careful hand sanding around mouldings and leadlight glass, addressing minor marks/discolouration where possible, and applying a high-quality exterior-grade UV and weather-resistant clear timber finish. The interior side should also be sanded/prepared and refinished so the whole entrance has a consistent, professionally restored appearance. The Tasker must provide all labour, sanding equipment, tools, masking/protection materials, stain if required, varnish/clear finish and all other materials. Please include in your offer: 1. Experienced Carpenter Needed ASAP, Dural Area Looking for an experienced carpenter, ideally someone very confident with finish carpentry, to rectify some recently completed work that unfortunately hasn’t been finished to an acceptable standard. There are 4 rooms in total, however 2 rooms are the priority ASAP as our painter is currently unable to continue until the carpentry is rectified. Work required includes: • Fix/rectify the existing wainscoting/wall panelling where possible, rather than replacing everything
• Remove and replace coving/cornice on 3 walls in each room
• Rectify skirting boards and architraves as much as possible without replacing them
• Fix/finish the rock wall, including sanding and preparing it properly for the painter
• General finishing and tidying of the existing carpentry so it is ready for painting The aim is to salvage and properly finish as much of the existing work as possible, rather than unnecessarily ripping everything out and starting again. Hey guys. Looking for an experienced joinery installer to go finish up a job of mine I can’t make it to. Very easy stuff I have photos of what you have to do. Putting shadowlines, fingerpull rails , adjusting, gap filling, drilling handles, hanging rods. Not many handles and rods to do job is mostly finger pull. Just can’t make it out myself so I need to try and find someone to help me finish it off. Job is 95% done. 500$

I need my existing kitchen oven housing cabinet increased by 10cm. I have an existing 90cm x 50cm x 57 oven which is being replaced with a new one that is 90x 57 x 57 so I need the housing adjusted. There is a 20cm drawer below so this can be used (10cm) to increase the housing to fit the new oven in. Therefore need sufficient skills to increase size using this drawer space including making the remaining 10cm gap good - probably by using the existing drawer cover and cutting in half and fitting (ie no long a drawer as it isn’t used anyway).
