I'm looking for an experienced timber finisher/painter to stain and apply polyurethane to 21 solid American Oak stair treads. Scope of work: 21 American Oak stair treads (approximately 68 mm thick). Before installation: apply 1 coat of stain and 3 coats of water-based satin polyurethane to the underside and side edges. The top walking surface will be completed after installation. After the stairs are installed, return to apply 1 coat of stain and 3 coats of polyurethane to the top surfaces. Light sanding between polyurethane coats where required. I will supply the stain and polyurethane. I am looking for labour only. Important: Before proceeding with all 21 stair treads, I would like one sample tread stained using the stain and coated with polyurethane so I can inspect and approve the final colour. Once I'm happy with the finish, you can proceed with the remaining 21 treads. Requirements: Experience finishing timber stair treads or hardwood flooring. Please provide photos of similar work if available. Please quote your labour price. Budget is indicative only.

6m x 2m deck, second story There is a front edge section on both sides that would need sanded and sealed too which isn’t included in the above measurements. There is a large pot plant that you’d ideally work around (move it based on the section you are working in) or help us lift out of the way. I’d easily move the smaller pot plants.

1) I have a standard size door whose dimensions are 40X820X2040, it is natural wood and has no paint or stain or varnish on it. The door is brand new and is already installed. 2) The frames are existing ones and are cream-white in color. 3) I want the door to be stained/varnished and also the frames to be stained/varnished to match the door color. 4) The bottom of the frames have some gaps/holes in the corners and the door frame has some gaps/holes near the latch. This gap was created when we removed the old latch and installed the new one. 5)I will supply the following: Paint, Varnish, Stain. Any other small materials such as paint brush, roller, sand paper etc are to be supplied by the trades person. 6)The main goal of the project is to make sure the door and door frames are of similar colors and minor gaps are patched and sealed.

Sand and stain 130m2 and 27m2 of decking. 2 coats of stain + handrail & stairs.

Clean deck. Apply 2 coats decking stain. Marbeau wood. 40m2. Deck is raised but all areas to be stained can be accessed from the deck. Great care must be taken to ensure no stain on adjoining tiled balcony and area underneath. I can provide the stain.

We require our wooden deck (only 3 years old) to be prepared (cleaned and lightly sanded in patched) and stained with 2 coats, top and side. We have all cleaning products and stain.
