The Issue: A drawer in our main counter behind the sales desk is broken and will not close fully. It appears the drawer runner (slider) has failed, as a small ball bearing from the mechanism has fallen out. This is a safety and operational issue, as the drawer protrudes into the staff walkway. The Job: The task is to replace the faulty drawer runners to make the drawer fully functional again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Carefully removing the drawer from the cabinet. 2. Assessing and removing the old, broken pair of drawer runners from both the drawer and the cabinet. 3. Supplying and installing a new, high-quality pair of drawer runners that are the correct size and weight capacity for the drawer. 4. Correctly installing the drawer back into the cabinet. 5. Testing the drawer to ensure it opens and closes smoothly and fully. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the new replacement drawer runners.
