We have taken measurements of the arch way and wall the door is required for and reached out to Barn door outlet. They will deliver materials and instructions and we need someone to install it. Door handle as well to be installed. Not sure if our measurements are accurate but we have sent this to Barn door and received a quote. I need a carpenter/handyman experienced with solid timber doors to repair my front entry door and door frame and prepare them for new lock hardware. The door previously had a large mortise-style lock removed. An attempt was made to fill the old mortise cavity with timber, but I would now like the repair done properly. Door work required: * Cut/remove the existing damaged/repaired timber section around the old mortise lock. * Cut and fit a new solid timber insert/block into the old mortise cavity so the door edge is structurally sound. * Glue/fix the replacement timber properly and finish it flush with the existing door edge. * Repair/tidy the existing lock openings as required. * Accurately drill/cut the required openings for: * Eufy Video Smart Lock/deadbolt – upper position. * Lemaar passage lever/latch – lower position. * Cut/recess the door edge for the new deadbolt and latch faceplates as required. Door-frame work required: * The existing frame has the old mortise-lock/strike cavity, which also needs to be properly filled/repaired with timber. * The current strike/lock alignment is not correct, so please do not simply reuse the existing strike positions. * Once the door-side holes are prepared, accurately mark the new positions on the frame. * Cut/recess the frame for the new Eufy deadbolt strike and passage-latch strike, ensuring both line up correctly and the door closes/locks smoothly. * Finish the repaired frame area neatly and flush. I will install the Eufy smart lock and passage handle myself. I need the carpenter to complete the timber repairs and accurately prepare/cut the door and frame for installation.

Reverse toilet door swing - Currently opens inward; change it to open outward. - Reuse the existing door. - Carefully remove and reverse the existing door frame. - Reposition and install the hinges so the door swings outward. - The painter will patch the frame and hinge areas after the carpentry work. 2. Install a new bathroom door - Door size: 2020mm × 820mm. - Existing frame is already in place. - Door needs to be shortened by approximately 20mm to fit. - Install and align the hinges. - Cut the required holes and install the handle/privacy lock.
