Experienced Cabinet Installers Wanted – Chatswood Project Note: The advertised rate is a daily rate. We are seeking experienced cabinet installers to assist with a residential joinery project in Chatswood. Ideally, we are looking for a team of two installers for approximately 1.5–2 weeks of work. The joinery has been imported from China and supplied as flat-pack cabinetry. Packaging and labels are in Chinese, so the ability to read Chinese would be an advantage, but is not essential. Scope of Works: * 1 x Kitchen cabinetry (including stone benchtop and splashback) * 1 x Kitchen island bench (including stone benchtop) * 5 x Bedroom wardrobes * 2 x Corridor cabinetry units * 1 x Laundry cabinetry (including stone benchtop) * 3 x Bathroom vanities (including stone benchtops) * Assembly and installation of flat-pack joinery * Installation of stone benchtops and splashbacks (all stone has already been cut to size) Requirements: * Own tools and equipment * Cut, scribe, adjust, and modify cabinetry as required to achieve a high-quality finish * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and efficiently * Experience installing custom joinery This is a custom joinery project, so on-site adjustments, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning should be expected. Hello, We are looking for a skilled handyman, joiner, or cabinet maker to repair a broken cupboard door hinge at our retail store, in Westfield Chatswood Chase. The Issue: A concealed European-style hinge has been pulled out of an under-desk cabinet door in our staff area. The plastic dowels and screws have ripped out, leaving the pre-drilled holes in the cabinet door stripped, so the hinge cannot be simply screwed back in. The door is currently sagging and misaligned. The Job: The task is to repair the stripped holes and securely re-hang the cabinet door. The scope of work includes: 1. Assessing the damaged holes on the cabinet door/frame. 2. Repairing the holes (e.g., by filling them with wood filler/epoxy, plugging with dowels, or using suitable oversized plastic anchors). 3. Securely re-fastening the original hinge back onto the door and frame. 4. Aligning the door so it opens, closes, and latches smoothly. We want a bigger fridge, but the current fridge space is a bit too small.
