Looking for an experienced carpenter/handyman to repair a damaged timber door and surrounding door frame. As shown in the photos, there is significant damage to the hinge side of the door/frame. The timber door jamb has split and pulled away in sections, including around the hinges, and some of the architrave/trim has also come away. The door itself also appears to have split/cracked along the hinge side and may require repair or replacement depending on its condition. Looking for someone to assess and complete whatever is required to restore it properly, including: * Repair or replace damaged sections of the door jamb/frame * Assess and repair the damaged door, or advise if replacement is more appropriate * Secure/reinstall the hinges * Rehang and correctly align the door * Repair/reinstall damaged architrave/trim * Make sure the door opens, closes and sits correctly * Patch/fill and ideally leave repaired areas ready for painting I’m unsure of the appropriate budget, so please send through your best offer for the job, including labour and materials where possible.
