We have 500-600 red bricks and are looking for a reasonable quote for a fireplace/barbecue area. The fireplace doesn’t have to be as elaborate as the photo - open to design ideas. Looking for similar to photo but with second horizontal surface on the other side of fire place.

We require an area of approximately 160cm height by 50cm width to be bricked by a qualfied bricklayer after recently replacing our hot water service. We will supply the bricks required for the work. Part of the job will involve removing the existing cement sheet currently boarding the area, and colour matching the mortar as best as possible to blend with the surrounding wall. We have a brick Chimney that need to be sealed as it leaks in heavy rain. No obvious damage to the bricks but the mortar on top is cracked. However we think it's more than that as it has leaked since installation of a wood oven when mortar was new.

Hi there, I am demolishing a brick fireplace that (it’s not original to my heritage house), so I am trying to restore the fireplace to its original form. I started demoing the bricks and realised there is likely one section that will require a brick saw or some kind of jack hammering. I only want some of the facade bricks removed, and I think that’ll involve a brick saw? Check out the pics for reference (note the bricks highlighted in blue are single layer, ie there is nothing behind them.. bricks highlighted in green are attached to other bricks, but I only want that single layer removed). You’ll need your own tools but hopefully this should be a small job :) * once the brick is removed I will have the fireplace re-fluted/certified by professionals

Laying approx 75 x 100 series blocks. I have the blocks and sand. I’ll be here to mix and cut blocks. The wall is only 1200 high.
