Remove existing aluminium sliding window, frame, and flyscreen 2. Brick up the opening to match existing external brickwork as closely as possible (double brick / cavity to match the wall) 3. Tie new brickwork into existing courses; ensure level, plumb, and properly bonded 4. Render the internal face to prep for painting (flush with surrounding wall surface) 5. We are looking for an experienced handyman/bricklayer to repair our low front garden retaining wall, which is built from sandstone blocks using a traditional dry-stack (no mortar) style. The wall has been damaged, most likely by a vehicle impact. One corner section is completely knocked out, with several large sandstone blocks dislodged, broken, and scattered across the footpath and grass. The task includes: - Clearing all broken and loose stone debris from the footpath, grass, and surrounding area ​ - Rebuilding the damaged corner section using the existing stones, or if not practical, can replace with same color stone (some blocks will need to be carefully repositioned and stabilized) ​ - Ensuring the wall is stable, level, and aligned with the rest of the existing structure, following the original dry-stack (no mortar) construction method ​ - Basic cleanup of the work area once the wall is repaired The wall is approximately 40 cm high, and the damaged section is about 50cm to 90cm long.
