It’s only one course above the window up to the eaves, so very little load on the lintel. Job: • Prop the brickwork, then fit the new galvanised lintel with proper bearing each side • Re-lay the single course above to close the gap • Build the jambs back to the frame each side and seal around the frame • Repoint to match All materials on site (lintel, M4 mortar, matching bricks) — just need labour and tools. Must be an experienced bricklayer, not a handyman — it’s structural, so please confirm you’ll prop it before fitting the lintel. Location: Greenvale. Timing flexible, keen to get it done soon.
