I am replacing the current laundry wall and door with new brickwork and a custom aluminium-glass door. I have the door, and the brickwork is scheduled for 19 Jul. As soon as the brickwork is completed I'll be looking to close the remaining space with the new door. Ideally that's the following day (Sunday 20 Jul), or absolute worst case the day after that (Monday 21 Jul). The door comes with reveals already fitted. What I am concerned about is getting an accurate measurement for the bricklayer so he leaves enough space for the door. Ideally you'd be close by and could come look at the door some time before the bricklayer arrives next Sat, and confirm the measurement yourself, then come back to install on 20/21 Jul. A picture of the door is attached. This task has been reposted after initially being cancelled due to unforeseen reasons. I welcome resubmitted offers from anyone who responded to the previous ad.

After the carpet replacement, several interior doors are no longer opening properly. They need to be taken off their hinges, trimmed with a power saw, and re-hung.

It appears that the screws at the bottom-left corner of the sliding glass door frame are loosening and causing the door to lower down on the rail and the top right crest gaps to widen.

This is a tricky task.understand it before sending your offer. This is part of my plan to move my oversized 4 posted hardwood bed into upstairs bedroom through the window. If you can help, contact me. Ideally you should have some mobile scaffold or scissor lift to run this move. Before that move, I need to remove the double hung sash window and detach the decorative dowel of the bed frame. Then we can tilt the heavy bed frame diagonally to pass through the window into the bedroom! I don’t expect one party completes all the work. I have other tasks to track other parts of the plan.
