The metal hinge has split at the barrel while the hinge pin remains in place, so the hinge needs replacing. * Most of the existing screw holes are too large to securely hold the screws, so they will likely need to be repaired (filled and re-drilled or another suitable method) to ensure the new hardware is fitted securely. I’m looking to upgrade from the basic builder-grade door hardware to quality brushed silver (satin chrome) lever handles. Please include the cost of the handles, replacement hinge and any additional hardware required in your quote. Please bring all necessary tools and materials to complete the job. I’m looking for a neat, professional finish from someone experienced with door hardware installation.

Door hinges have come unscrewed from frame, still secured to door. Top hinge was getting stiff often so may need replacing, metal is rusty and wood looks rough.

Reposting this task as we couldn't review previous offers. We need the bathroom vanity door hinges to be reattached to the side of the cabinet. However, the area where the screws were previously attached is no longer holding them properly.

Need an experienced handyman to remove 8 metal window grilles at a property in Cremorne. Grilles are fixed to timber/brick. May involve security screws (triangle/square). Need to patch the holes left behind in the timber frame. If the screws are too difficult to remove, I am happy for you to use a cutting tool (e.g., angle grinder) to cut them off, as long as the window frames and brickwork are not damaged.

The door closer has pulled off the top trim above the door and a little on the left side trim . It looks like there is not enough plaster above the door frame so the screws and nails were not solidly attached into anything. Steps that need to be followed: - Rust removal - Clean of the door - Priming (anti rust paint) - High quality exterior paint (maybe two thin coats) with a sprayer?
