I have a small upstairs timber balcony/deck that has several loose boards and areas of timber rot/deterioration. One section has visible holes, cracking and timber damage (see photos). Floor boards require sanding and sealing. There is quite a bit of variation in the floor currently, we do not expect a perfect outcome just a bit more consistency and brightness. We plan to re-do the flooring in 2 years so this is a semi-temporary fix. The area that requires sanding is 67sqm. There are two bedrooms, one living room and the corridor. I would like this job completed between the 11-15 June.

Seven year old timber deck restoration. 5m by 2m in size. Deep cleaning and proper sanding. Timber treated/protected against rot, mould and weather and finished with a high-quality UV- and water-resistant decking oil or stain (preferably non-slip).

Need to get timber floor in a condition ready for sanding and polishing. The task includes removing all nails/pins and punching any existing structural nails (Approx 70sqm).

We several dark water stains on our timber floorboards which need to be repaired as part of an end of lease clean. The stains were caused by water collecting below pot plants and a long mirror. I’m converting a small storage room into a study nook and need floorboards installed to cover an exposed concrete subfloor where built-in cabinets were recently removed. The job involves three tasks: 1. Lay Floorboards ∙ Install supplied (matching) floating floorboards to match the existing light timber flooring in the adjoining area ∙ Boards need to butt up neatly to the existing flooring at the threshold ∙ The subfloor is bare concrete with some old adhesive residue from removed cabinetry – light prep/levelling will be needed before laying ∙ Please bring underlay – I don’t have any on hand 2. Install Skirting Boards ∙ Install supplied skirting boards around the perimeter of the are as shown in the photos to finish the floor edges clean 3. Patch Holes in the Wall ∙ There are a few holes and damage spots in the walls left over from the cabinet removal ∙ Please patch and prep the walls ready for painting – I will do the painting myself, so just needs to be sanded smooth and ready to go. I will supply the filler for the wall patching. This is a relatively small task for someone that knows what they are doing.

I need a skilled handyman or flooring installer to replace one rotted engineered timber floorboard near a main door (see photos).
