Bathroom wall repair – villaboard patch, waterproofing, tiling & sealing (qualified trades only) Hi all, Had to cut out an old shower mixer as the cartridge was no longer replaceable. A new mixer has now been installed and the leak has stopped. Plumber and I left the shower area dry for now until this wall repair is completed. I need a qualified professional to carry out the following: - Square up and patch the opening using wet-area villaboard (not standard plaster). - Apply waterproofing membrane to the repaired area (2 coats preferred). - Tile the patched section – any close white tile match is fine (I don't have spare tiles). - Grout and silicone seal around the mixer and repaired wall. - Leave the area ready for my plumber to return and fit the trim/finishings.
