The path has: • Efflorescence (white powdery residue) on the brick surface that needs removing • General dirt/staining on the bricks that needs cleaning • Old, damaged jointing that needs removing — currently just paving sand, which washes out in the rain and when the path is hosed/washed down • Joints need to be properly re-pointed using a proper brick slurry/mortar grout (not paving sand) so it's durable and won't wash out again This is a quote-only callout at this stage – I'd like someone to assess the path in person, advise on the best approach and materials, and provide a written quote for the full job. Looking for an experienced tiler to: 1. Add one extra row of wall tiles (about 16 tiles) at the top of an existing shower (tiles supplied). There is grout at the top of the existing tiled area (where the wall meets the tiles). This will likely need to be removed or trimmed back so the new top row of tiles can be installed. 2. Regrouting. The area that needs to be regrouted is approx. 16 x 8 tiles. The task is ready to go. Please bring your own tiling tools, adhesive, grout, and spacers. You’ll need to cut/drill and install the tiles neatly to match existing lines and finish. There is a shower screen that I'll remove beforehand.
