Plastic switch is broken and wire snapped

I have a table lamp which keeps throwing the light bulb out . I think the socket might be loose so needs repairing

I was attempting to replace a lamp shade and it was embedded with the socket and the wiring detached.

I’ve bought a lamp overseas (110 power) and it’s quite fatigued anyway so need it redone to suit being a lamp here.

I am looking for an electrician to help me fix two table lamps that have stopped working! One is a vintage Hanimex lamp - may need new bulb or possibly just loose wiring? And the other is a vintage green lamp that uses and adapter. Have attached pictures

Lamp doesn’t turn on. I’ve tried a different bulb, using my different travel adaptor (it has an EU plug), and different power outlets. Would be awesome if I could get help fixing it! Bonus points for potentially switching the plug from the EU version to an AU version.

We have an old lamp and the only way to turn it on is using the switch on the socket wall. We’d like a switch installed on the lamp cable to make it easier to turn on. I believe the cord was shortened at some point given there is electrical tape halfway down the cord. Hope this description makes sense! Photo attached. Hope someone can help.

Hi my table lamp suddenly stopped working - we always used the wall plug to turn on/off as the switch was not working anyway. Fix switch problem and lamp itself not working now. Simple electric problem i guess?
