I’m looking for an experienced and reliable handyman to complete a few maintenance jobs at the same property. Priority is the Franke rangehood light repair. Ideally, I’d like to have the other jobs completed during the same visit if time allows. 1. HIGH PRIORITY – Franke rangehood light * Franke slide-out rangehood. * The rangehood/exhaust fan is working normally, but the light is not working. * Please diagnose the issue and repair or replace the light/bulb/component as required. * This is the main job I need completed. 2. Bathroom shower re-sealing * Remove the old silicone along the floor-to-wall corners of the shower. * Apply new mould-resistant bathroom silicone. * Photos attached for reference. * Neat and waterproof finish required. 3. Gutter cleaning – lower priority * Clean the gutters along the lower/single-storey section only, as shown in the attached photo. * The property is a two-storey house, but I only need the gutters on the lower section cleaned. * The gutter is elevated, so appropriate ladder/access equipment will be required. * Remove leaves, dirt, grass and debris. * This is the lowest priority and can be completed last if time permits. * No need to clean the gutters on the upper/two-storey section. Approximately 40 linear metres of aluminium gutter guard to install on a double-storey domestic house with a metal roof. I will supply the aluminium mesh. The down pipe is a corner piece - it appears that it’s leaking from the top join at the guttering, and running down to the bottom of the pipe bend and dripping to the ground. Probably Needs new pipe corner and sealing up to stop the leak. It’s approximately 6 metres high. See photos

Rodent exclusion + trap setup in roof cavity We've got mice getting into our roof cavity and want them dealt with properly — not just baited so they keep coming back. The job has three parts: Find the entry points — inspect the exterior, roofline, eaves, vents, weep holes, pipe/cable penetrations and roof tiles for any gaps a mouse could get through (they only need about 8mm) Seal them off — close all gaps using steel wool packed into expanding foam, and metal mesh over any vents/openings that can't be fully blocked. Mice chew through foam alone, so steel/mesh is important. Set the traps — access the roof cavity through the internal manhole (note: this is a low Australian-style roof space accessed via a ceiling hatch, not a full walk-in attic, so it's tight and requires care on the joists) and place snap traps along beams and wall lines where mice travel. We supply: snap traps, peanut butter, a ladder, and a head torch. You supply: sealing materials (steel wool, expanding foam, metal mesh), hand tools, and appropriate PPE (gloves, dust mask — roof insulation and dust).Single-storey home in Hadspen, TAS. Please bring your own materials for sealing (let us know if you'd prefer we purchase specific products in advance). Take before/after photos of the entry points found and sealed so we know what was done. Let us know if you spot signs it may be rats rather than mice, or any other damage (chewed wiring, nesting) while you're up there.
