Waterproofing Strips for Two Shower Cubicles – Seal Gaps in Doors
$150
Kingston TAS, Australia
27th Jun 2025
Looking for a handyman or bathroom specialist to help waterproof two shower cubicles in our home. The job involves: Installing waterproof sealing strips (or similar waterproofing solution) between the glass and door frame gaps in both shower cubicles Ensuring the seals prevent water from leaking onto the bathroom floor Both showers are fully functional, but small gaps in the doors are allowing water to escape during use. Note: Airtasker to provide materials.
Jackson helped install waterproofing strips for our shower cubicles. He was incredibly polite and professional, and took the time to problem-solve the most efficient solution for our needs. Would highly recommend.

Roof leak fixed
$250
Kingston TAS, Australia
26th Nov 2024
Discovered a leak in one of our bedrooms over the winter. Caused the ceiling plaster to blister before I poked a hole in it to reduce potential pressure buildup (see photos). Corrugated iron roof seems to be fine on the outside. Suspicion is that strong winds drive rain up under the roof, as gentle rains with no wind don't result in dripping water inside bedroom. Probably need to access crawlspace to have a look.
