Bricklayer needed – rebuild pillar in Gawler Looking for an experienced bricklayer to build a new brick pillar to match an existing pillar. The concrete footing has already been poured, and I’ll handle the rendering once the brickwork is complete. The existing pillar is approximately 1.6 m high and 370 mm deep. The new pillar will be around 500 mm wide. I can provide photos and confirm the final dimensions on site. It is a portion of garage wall with 2 small windows

I’m looking for an experienced renderer to repair and re-render part of an exterior wall on an upstairs balcony in Carrum. Recent roof and gutter repairs around this wall have left some of the foam backing exposed near the top. The wall is approximately 3.2m high. The left section is about 97cm wide and has foam backing behind the render, while the adjoining section to the right has brick backing. There was previously a crack in the foam-backed section as the house settled, around the point where the different substrates meet. This was temporarily patched and painted, but I would now like the area properly repaired and re-rendered. My preference is to: 1) Re-render just the foam-backed section on the left, from top to bottom, rather than the entire wall if practical 2) Properly repair the exposed foam and previous cracked area 3) Include an expansion/control joint where the foam-backed and brick-backed sections meet if this is the appropriate way to prevent future cracking 4) Match the existing rendered texture and Colorbond Monument colour as closely as possible The entire two-storey wall is likely to be repainted shortly afterwards, so an absolutely perfect colour match isn’t essential. Access is from the upstairs balcony. Photos show the wall, exposed foam, previous repair and approximate dimensions. Please include all materials and let me know your proposed repair/rendering method when quoting. I can provide more photos if needed.

Hang 2 picture frames on double brick rendered walls. Dimensions & Weight: Approx 62cm x 87cm each, plastic front (no glass), and lightweight at max 2.2kg each. Special Note: The hanging hardware/back pieces on one of the frames are slightly uneven (one is higher than the other), so some careful measuring and adjustment will be needed. Hardware: Please bring appropriate masonry fixings/hardware for double brick rendered walls. I will reimburse you for the cost of the hardware separately. We removed a small section of the brick wall next to the driveway, job is to patch render over the brick on one corner. Doesn’t need to match exactly to existing, just a tidying up job. No painting. Probably suits someone with another job in the area already.

I have had work carried out on my pool and the rendering lifted off, The area is dry and awaiting rendering work. Replacement area is about 3.5m long and 16 - 18 cm in wall height.

The outdoor garden tap has broken off at the wall. The brass tap body is intact, but it was threaded into a plastic/poly wall fitting that snapped cleanly at the collar—the sheared threaded ring is still on the tap threads. I have disconnected the irrigation/hose water from another point for now.

Fill in hole with bricks as photo shows, bricks I have are smaller than the original bricks but as it’s rendered I don’t care about how it looks just need to bricked up and sealed
