Removal of existing kitchen sink mixer tap and installation of new mixer tap by licensed plumber. Disclosure: - The plastic locking nut on the existing mixer is not budging when I tried to loosen it. We don’t mind if it and the existing mixer is damaged whilst it’s being removed as long as the new one can be installed. - The locking nut is tight to the back of the cabinet.

Need a loose retaining nut underneath the sink tightened on a kitchen mixer tap. Over time, the nut has become loose and the whole tap has started wobbling at the base.

Previously I could stop the leak by turning the tap off tightly, but now it continues to drip/leak even when the tap is fully turned off.
