Need to replace the current spout. When rotated, the current spout moves the adapter (not sure if plastic or metal) and flexible hose underneath the sink. So the right tool is needed to ensure no damage while unscrewing the old spout and tightening up the new gooseneck spout (which has a grub screw). New spout (which we have on hand) is a Shaw & Mason swivel hob spout with 1/2" BSP thread.

Suspected failure of the suction pump in the water storage tank/rainwater collection tank, resulting in no water in the toilet even though the pump is heard turning. Normally, when the toilet is finished, the pump starts briefly and then stops. But recently the pump seems to be not working, and there is no water in the toilet. There are also references to the sound of the pump continuing to work, but there is still no water in the toilet.

I had a blocked toilet 3 weeks ago which was cleared by SA Water, which still seems to be not completely normal. Had a repeat SA water check on last friday who had mentioned no issues on their end. Need a check to see if any blockage on our end. Apart from toilet rest sewage works without any issues. Toilet and bathroom vanity are slow and connected to same drainage. Need a plumber with camera to check the entire drainage and fix in any issues, possibly tree roots. - Due date: Flexible
