I am renovating a kitchen. The existing kitchen taps needs to be disconnected. I will be replacing with a new mixer tap. I want the existing taps removed, shutoff, and ready for a new mixer tap when new kitchen is installed.

Install and replace leaking shower mixer tap including checking for leaks Unsure if leak can just be fixed by swapping eroded tap or body will need replacing . I have a bouble sink with a mixer that you can turn between the 2 sinks. In certain positions however the water pressure is very low depending on the direction the tap is facing. The tiled floor of our shower has a few cracked tiles and grouting in a few spots is cracked. Cannot afford to redo bathroom; a later job, but want to use shower. Shower was leak proof even with cracked tiles up until recently after a period of non-use. Want a solid patch of shower to stop leak before we do a complete bathroom rebuild.

We have tried a plunger and a 1.5m toilet snake to unblock but the blockage must be further down the pipe.
