I'm replacing the water service line into my house, as the existing one wasn't installed to code. I have the 25 mm HDPE pipe and the PVC conduit and need a licensed plumber to complete the connections. Scope of work: 1. Meter connection: Connect the new 25 mm HDPE line to the water meter. 2. Tee at the house end of the conduit: • Straight through: a backflow preventer, then a 25 mm isolation valve, feeding my irrigation system. I'd prefer a backflow preventer with minimal pressure loss, as I want as much flow as possible for irrigation. • 90° branch: connection to the house supply. • When you're on site, please tell me how long the final pipe segment needs to be and I'll cut it to length. 3. House entry: ideally, we would be able to go under the storm water pipe and vertically up behind it. Where the line enters the house, add a side branch with a 25mm isolation valve. Materials: Please supply all fittings, including the HDPE connectors, backflow preventer and isolation valves, and include them in your quote. Requirements: Please be ready to provide your QBCC licence number. Proof of public liability insurance would also be appreciated.

Kitchen sink has not been draining. Pipe under the house has been disconnected as the issue wasn’t fixed after a previous plumber came to complete works around the issue. If the pipe is connected, the sink backs up again. The drain pipe from the sink is plastic, and that is connected to the other half of the down pipe that is quite old and is metal, it appears to be corroded inside.
