I am moving out of a rental and had a spill of liquid nails on the paint which I need painted over. The liquid nails is flat and has been sanded back. Paint needs to be matched and a double coat over the liquid nails and single coat on the wall is enough. The wall is 4.8w x 2.4h. no skirting or architrave work required. Source colour matched paint from Bunnings (3 mins drive away) and touch-up paint of 2 apartment bedrooms. Avoid carpet. Had skirting board removed for carpet install and bottom of walls were destroyed in the process! Unfortunately, the installers didn’t tell me until the job was complete - so now need to paint around new carpet and ensure it doesn’t get paint on it. Requirements: SOURCE PAINT: I’m sure it’s a common Dulux paint colour - but I‘d like someone who can take a sample for Bunnings team to colour check. I can’t seem to chip enough off for the colour check app. Bunnings is 2 mins drive from my apartment. I will pay for the paint separately. PREP & TOUCH UP WALLS: Prep and touch up the bottom of walls where removal of skirting board has left a mark, plus area where paint sample is taken from. Ensure no paint gets on carpet.
