I have two large rooms with popcorn ceiling and i need to get rid of that texture. I have had a go at removing it, and i need help! It seems to be textured in the concrete render, rather than just plaster. I was technically able to sand a bit back with a sander - but it was very difficult. I also tried filling it in with plaster, i suspect it might need a combination of the two I'd estimate about 77 square metres all together across both rooms
