Bed frame screws came loose and mattreess collapsed inwards. I've removed the mattress and left the bedframe as it is in the room. Just need someone to screw it back in and remove half broken screw stuck inside the frame. Can someone with a drill set or knowledge of carpentry please help

Could anyone help me to repair the damages including the old cracks shown in the photo? There is previous attempt to cosmetically fix the cracks, but they still look ugly.
